How can Faber-Castell produce such a poorly constructed ballpoint pen? I purchased this pen one day ago and my first instinct was that the pen is masterfully designed. The problems started after I used the pen for the first time. The design of the pen dictates that a person retracts the ballpoint by rotating the top part of the pen. This pen cannot retract the ballpoint as the official refills are too large for the end of the pen. The ballpoint sticks out of the pen and cannot retract.
