STAEDTLER sells European “Eberhard Faber” trademark rights to FABER-CASTELL

By purchasing the “Eberhard Faber” trademark rights from the STAEDTLER Group, FABER-CASTELL has restored this trademark – which dates from the 19th century and is particularly well known in the USA – to its original owners.

This is a milestone in the history of the FABER-CASTELL brand, as it is the first time that all three Faber brands are once again in the hands of the original company, A.W. Faber, which was established in 1761 and which has been known as FABER-CASTELL since 1898.
